Moderan hodnik je nešto što svi žele. Ipak je to prvi kontakt sa domom. Iako će mnogima na pamet pasti zakrčeni hodnici, sa jednom ogromnom komodom, ružnim tepihom ili/i praznim zidovima – garantujemo vam da ne mora biti tako.

Uredno spakovane stvari

Najveći problem kada je uređenje hodnika u pitanju, prave stvari koje nikako da pronađu svoje mesto. Tu je i neadekvatan odabir samog “skladišta” za stvari, odnosno ormara, plakara ili komode koja se uklapa u veličinu hodnika, ali i u celokupni estetski dojam stana.

Ukoliko imate ormar, možda ga ne morate menjati, već ga prilagodite. Bilo šmirglanjem i farbanjem u adekvatniju boju, i sl.

Ako krećete od nule, ili biste menjali “garnituru” u hodniku, potražite visoke police, plakar ili cipelarnik “na duž”.

Zamislite visoki ormar ili plakar, sa dovoljno pregrada i čiviluka, pa još pored njega i komoda, ali niska, nalik na osmansko “kanabe”. Danas na tržištu mogu da se kupe komodice i cipelarnici koji služe i za sedenje, ali može biti i klasičnog tipa.

Iznad ušrafite čiviluke, ali pokušajte da pronađete neke neobičnog oblika, ili potpuno jednostavne samo ih prefarbajte u neku efektnu boju. To može biti i crna, zavisno od ostatka boja u hodniku, ali mogu biti i zlatna, žuta, zelena ili bela. 

Deo pored čiviluka možete nameniti i za hodničko ogledalo.

Pomoć ogledala i dodatna rasveta

Ogledalo nikada neće prestati da bude najbolji način da nešto osvežite, “otvorite” ili mu date neku otmeniju notu. Samo treba odabrati pravo ogledalo. 

Kako uošte ogledalo za hodnik treba da izgleda?

Prvo – birajte jednostavni dizajn. Uređenje hodnika mora izbeći laku zamku pretrpavanja. Neka vam ideja vodilja budu jasne ivice, i bez debelog rama. Ogledala sa bordurama ili ramom od gvožđa (ili nekog sličnog materijala) odlično će se uklopiti u novu zamisao. 

Ovakvo ogledalo treba okačiti samo, odnosno bez “smetnji” u vidu okolnih polica, plakara i sl. Biralte najuže parče zida u hodniku – potencijalno odmah do ulaznih vrata?

Pozadinsko osvetljenje i rastegljivi stropov – povoljan način da zauvek promenite “imidž” hodnika

Možete dodatno instalirati i pozadinsko ili ukrasno osvetljenje. Na primer, stretch stropovi sa ugradnom rasvetom su moderan način završne obrade površina. Pojavili su se relativno nedavno, pa najnovije tehnologije nude originalan dizajn hodnika. 

LED trake duž ivica ogledala ili u uglovima podova su takođe pristupačan izbor, a daju hodniku LUX izgled. Samo birajte hladnije boje svetla.

Kombinacija svetala i ogledala je odlične kombinacije ako želite efektnu promenu hodnika, a pritom ugrađujete i veće ogledalo.

Detalji koji prave razliku

Slike i fotografije u originalnim aranžmanima i modernim okvirima su povoljan ali efektan ukras za ceo dom. Ištampajte omiljenu fotografiju vas, vaše porodice i/ili vašeg ljubimca na beloj pozadini, i tako je uramite. 

Ukoliko se odlučite za ramove, birajte one uskih ivica, ali u boji koja je suprotna – ali komplementarna – boji zida u hodniku.

Boja zidova i završni materijali

Boja zidova u hodniku se mora uklopiti sa ostatkom nijansi u domu, ali to ne znači da ako su vam zidovi beli ili krem, da odabir mora biti dosadan. Naprotiv, dizajneri enterijera se koriste mnogim trikovima kojim osvežavaju prostor, i unose život u manje delove stana.

Razmislite o fototapetama sa bordurama, ili podnim pločicama koje podsećaju na drvo. Zahvaljujući ovim malim promenama, hodnik može izgledati stilski i zanimljivo.

Tapeti i bordure su i odličan završni materijal za uređenje zidova u hodniku. Veoma su izdržljiv izbor, lako se održavaju i neće se prljati kao standardni, “goli” zid. 

Ako znamo da je hodnik jedan od najizloženijih kutaka u domu, s obzirom na to da nam je prvi kontakt kad se vraćamo spolja, i unosimo prašinu, blato, vodu i dr. zagađivače u dom – zašto ga ne zaštititi na vreme, a pritom napraviti i doživljaj zbog kog će nam biti drago da tu živimo.

Klasično bojenje zidova, ili detalji u tamnijoj nijansi u odnosu na standardnu boju zida takođe mogu biti dobar izbor za isticanje nekog detalja. 

Tu su još i (nešto skuplje varijante) završna obrada umetnim kamenom ili peskom. Svakako nešto o čemu vredi razmisliti, pa čak i odložiti uređenje dok se sredstva ne prikupe.

Neatly packing things

The biggest problem when it comes to arranging the hallway is the things that can never find their place. There is also an inadequate choice of „storage“ for things, that is, closets, wardrobes, or cupboards that fit into the size of the hallway, but also in the overall aesthetic impression of the apartment.

If you have a closet, you may not need to change it, but adjust it. Either by sanding and painting in a more adequate color or similar.

If you are starting from scratch, or you would change the „set“ in the hallway, look for high shelves, a closet, or a shoe store that „stretches“ along the hallway.

Imagine a tall closet or wardrobe, with enough compartments and hat stands, and next to it a chest of drawers, but low, similar to the „Ottoman chaise lounge“. Today on the market you can buy dressers and shoe stores that are also used for sitting, but they can also be of the classic type.

Over the top, screw the hat stands – but try to find some unusual shapes, or repaint the completely simple ones in some noticeable color. It can be black, depending on the rest of the color in the hallway, but it can also be gold, yellow, green, or white.

The part next to the hat stand could be used for the hallway mirror.

The help of a mirror and additional lighting

A mirror will never cease to be the best way to freshen up something, „open“ or give it a more elegant note. You just have to choose the right mirror.

What else should a hallway mirror look like?

First – choose a simple design. The arrangement of the hallway must avoid the frequent trap of overcrowding. Let yourselves be guided by the idea of clear edges, and without a thick frame. Mirrors with borders or an iron frame (or some similar material) will fit perfectly into the new idea.

Such a mirror should be hung alone, that is, without „interference“ in the form of surrounding shelves, closets, etc. Do you choose the narrowest piece of wall in the hallway – potentially right next to the front door?

Backlighting and stretch ceilings – a good way to change the „image“ of the hallway forever.

You can additionally install backlight or decorative lighting. For example, stretch ceilings with recessed lighting are a modern way of finishing surfaces. They appeared relatively recently, so the latest technologies offer original hallway designs.

LED strips along the edges of mirrors or in the corners of floors are also an affordable choice, giving the hallway a LUX look. Just choose cooler light colors.

The combination of lights and mirrors is great if you want an effective change of hallway, along with installing a larger mirror.

Details that make a difference

Pictures and photographs in unique arrangements and modern frames are affordable but effective decorations for the whole home. Print a favorite photo of you, your family, and/or your pet on a white background, and frame it that way.

If you decide on frames, choose those with thin edges, but in a color that is opposite – but still complementary – to the wall color in the hallway.

Wall color and finishing materials

The color of the walls in the hallway should match the rest of the shades in the home, but that does not mean that if your walls are white or cream, the choice must be boring. On the contrary, interior designers use many tricks to refresh the space and bring life to smaller parts of the apartment.

Think about photo wallpapers with borders or floor tiles that resemble wood. Thanks to these small changes, the hallway can look stylish and interesting.

Wallpapers and borders are excellent finishing materials for decorating the walls in the hallway. They are a very durable choice, easy to maintain, and will not get dirty like a standard, „bare“ wall.

If we know that the hallway is one of the most exposed areas in the home, considering that that is our first contact when we return from the outside and bring in dust, mud, water, and other pollutions to our home – why not protect it in time, and at the same time create an experience that will make us happy to live there.

Classic wall painting or details in a darker shade in contrast to the standard wall color can also be a good choice to emphasize the details.

There are also (somewhat more expensive variants) finishing with artificial stone or sand. Definitely something worth thinking about, and even postponing the arrangement until you collect the funds.
